Back in 2019, when I first began exploring private practice while working as a school social worker, I struggled to find a space that felt both beautiful AND affordable! I wanted somewhere that was financially feasible, community-centered, and inspiring—a place where I could grow my practice without feeling completely isolated.

Ultimately, I decided to join a group practice and put my dream of owning my own business on hold because it simply felt out of reach. Finding an office that fit my very part-time schedule without committing to a long-term commercial lease seemed nearly impossible. And like many therapists during the pandemic, I eventually transitioned to working almost entirely virtually and no longer needed my own office.

Fast forward to today, and I now own a growing group practice. Over the past few years, I've seen more and more clients seeking in-person therapy again, and I've watched fellow therapists searching for spaces that offer more than just four walls. They're looking for community, flexibility and possibly something even cute!

As we've continued settling into life post pandemic, one thing has become increasingly clear: people are craving meaningful in-person experiences again. Clients want places where they feel welcomed and safe, while therapists and helping professionals want spaces where they can grow thriving practices without taking on the financial burden of a full-time commercial lease (or maybe slowly work their way there!)

Yet from nearly every therapist I speak with, I hear the same challenges I experienced back in 2019. Beautiful, affordable, community-centered office spaces are still hard to find—especially for clinicians who are just starting out, building gradually, or simply don't need an office every day.

That's why I created Gathered.

Gathered was designed to remove those barriers by offering beautiful, flexible spaces where therapists and wellness/helping/healing professionals can build their businesses, connect with like-minded colleagues, and become part of a supportive community collective. It's more than an office rental—it's a place where people can grow together.

Today, Gathered is preparing for its biggest expansion yet as we transform an entire victorian building into a home for therapists, and wellness/helping/healing professionals, and the community we serve. I'm excited to share the journey—the renovations, the behind-the-scenes decisions, the challenges, and the milestones—and I hope you'll follow along as I would love to share the journey with you!
