We truly understand the unique challenges adolescents face, from navigating academic stressors to managing complex emotions and relationships. How you may ask? Well, prior to being a therapist, Lynnea Molina, LCSW had spent over decade providing school based wellness and mental health services to both high and middle school aged kids. She Loved it and had seen so much success, joy and progress in her clients she decided to continue working with teens when she started her practice in 2019.
Our therapy services encompass a wide range of issues commonly experienced by teens, including:
Anxiety: From generalized anxiety to social anxiety, or some of the left over anxitys’s from COVID, we provide evidence-based techniques to help teens manage their anxious thoughts and behaviors.
Depression: We offer compassionate support and effective strategies to help teens cope with feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and low self-esteem, empowering them to regain a sense of purpose and joy in life.
Stress: Academic pressure, family conflicts, peer relationships – whatever the source of stress may be, we love teaching teens valuable coping skills to navigate challenges with resilience and confidence.
Relationships: From peer dynamics to family conflicts and romantic relationships, we provide a safe space for teens to explore their feelings, improve communication skills, and build healthier connections with others.
Diversity: We celebrate and honor the diversity of our teen clients, recognizing that cultural, racial, LGBTQ+ and mixed race identities often if not always intersect with mental health issues.
