Veronica Netniss
Veronica Netniss, an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) with advanced degrees in Sociology, Education Counseling, and Clinical Mental Health. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, cultural awareness issues, cross-cultural adjustment, identity exploration, trauma/PTSD, and challenges faced by disadvantaged individuals and communities. My therapeutic approach is integrative, combining CBT, DBT, Mindfulness Practices, Person-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, while also incorporating evidence-based practices like Psychodynamic Interpersonal Therapy (PIT), Psychoeducation, Multicultural Counseling, and Humanistic Psychology.
Who is my ideal client?
My ideal clients are adults and young adults (18+), particularly those who are first-generation or immigrant clients, Middle Eastern individuals and families, BIPOC communities, and individuals navigating cultural and identity-related challenges. I focus on supporting those dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, intergenerational trauma, and the intersection of mental health and socioeconomic stressors.
