Who am I as a Therapist?
I am a therapist who believes that healing begins with feeling understood. I approach this work with steadiness, compassion, and a genuine respect for the complexity of each person’s lived experience. Therapy, to me, is a partnership. You bring your story, your wisdom, and your insight into your own life. I bring curiosity, reflection, and a commitment to creating a space where you feel safe enough to explore what has been difficult to name.
Therapy with me is…
Grounded in relational and trauma-informed care. I prioritize emotional safety and attunement, paying attention not only to thoughts and behaviors, but to how your nervous system has learned to respond to stress, connection, and vulnerability. I am mindful of how culture, family, and systemic pressures shape the way we cope and relate, and I approach each client with humility rather than assumption. I tailor our work to your pace and your needs, drawing from an integrative lens to support growth that feels grounded, meaningful, and sustainable.
You can expect a space where:
Your identity and lived experience are centered
Cultural and systemic factors are named, not ignored
We explore both your strengths and your protective patterns
You’ll learn practical tools and ways to respond differently when old patterns show up
And yes, sometimes we’ll laugh. Healing doesn’t have to feel rigid.
The Clients I Connect Best With…
Are those willing to look inward, even if it feels unfamiliar or uncomfortable. You might be the strong one. The reliable one. The high-functioning one.
On paper, things look good, but internally, something feels off. You may be navigating multiple identities, race, culture, gender, sexuality, first-gen pressure, and trying to reconcile who you were taught to be with who you actually are.
You do not need to have everything figured out, just a willingness to pause and explore what has been shaping you.
My Core Areas…
Are in working with:
High-achieving individuals navigating burnout, anxiety, and identity shifts
Individuals unpacking racial identity, internalized narratives, and systemic impact
LGBTQIA+ individuals exploring identity, relationships, and belonging
Neurodivergent individuals seeking greater self-understanding, regulation, and support
Athletes, veterans, and professionals transitioning between life roles
Clients exploring sexuality, attraction, relational conflict, and attachment dynamics
Trauma and complex trauma
While these are core areas of my work, I am not limited to them. I also support clients across a broad spectrum of life experiences, always remaining flexible and responsive to the person in front of me.
What You Might Experience During Treatment…
Early sessions often focus on building safety, clarity, and a strong therapeutic alliance. We’ll also take care of practical foundations so therapy seems grounded and purposeful. Together, we may:
Complete a biopsychosocial assessment to understand what’s bringing you in, your history, strengths, stressors, and supports
Co-create treatment goals that feel realistic, meaningful, and aligned with what you want your life to look like (not just symptom reduction)
Offer psychoeducation to help you make sense of patterns, like how trauma, attachment, anxiety, depression, ADHD, or nervous system responses can show up day to day.
Gently unpack cultural messages or intergenerational burdens
Develop grounding tools that help you stay regulated during difficult conversations or decisions
As therapy deepens, clients often experience:
Greater internal clarity and self-trust
Reduced shame around desire, anger, or vulnerability
Stronger relational boundaries
A more integrated sense of identity
