Meet Alexis

Alexis Camacho

I recognize that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, which is why I take the time to truly understand who you are and meet you where you are on your self-care and healing journey. Through a collaborative approach, we will discover together which strategies best support you. I bring creativity, compassion, and encouragement to my work, with the goal of ensuring that every client feels supported in achieving their goals. My priority is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable being your authentic self. My approach is action-oriented, as I believe growth happens not only in our sessions but also in the work you do outside of them; I often incorporate homework assignments, journaling, and self-reflection exercises to help you apply what we discuss in real-life situations. I specialize in working with young adults navigating depression, anxiety, grief, loss, trauma, self-confidence, and relationship challenges, and I draw on my experience working with at-risk youth and families. I integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches—including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), writing and art therapy, behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic therapy—tailoring each method to your unique needs. Life comes with challenges, but you don’t have to face them alone; I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on this journey so we can grow together.
