Meet Alexis

Alexis Camacho

I recognize that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. I take the time to understand who you

are and, most importantly, meet you where you are on your self-care and healing journey.

Through a collaborative approach, we will work together to discover what strategies best

support you.

I bring creativity, compassion, and encouragement to my work, ensuring that every client feels

supported in achieving their goals. My priority is to create a safe, welcoming space where you

can feel comfortable being your authentic self. My approach to therapy is action-oriented—I

believe that growth happens not only in sessions but also in the work done outside of them. I

often incorporate homework assignments, journaling, and self-reflection exercises to help you

apply what we discuss in real-life situations.

I specialize in working with young adults who have faced challenges related to depression,

anxiety, grief, loss, trauma, self-confidence, and relationship issues. My experience includes

working with at-risk youth and families, and I integrate various therapeutic approaches, including

cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), writing and art therapy, behavioral therapy, and

psychodynamic therapy, tailoring each method to your unique needs.

Life comes with challenges, but you don’t have to navigate them alone. I look forward to

meeting you and supporting you on this journey—together, we will grow!
