Who I Am as a Therapist
I am a neurodivergent therapist of Levantine and North African descent, and I approach therapy with deep compassion, cultural humility, and respect for each person’s lived experience. I see therapy as a collaborative process, one where you are the expert of your own life, and I am here to walk alongside you as a supportive, attuned guide.
My work is grounded in a client-centered, non-judgmental approach that prioritizes emotional safety, nervous system regulation, and curiosity rather than pathologizing. I tailor therapy to your unique needs, honoring your identity, history, and pace.
I bring an adaptable, integrative lens to therapy to best support each client’s path toward healing and well-being.
My Approach
I work eclectically, drawing from multiple modalities while primarily integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic therapy through a polyvagal lens. This means we explore not only thoughts and emotions, but also how your body and nervous system hold and respond to experiences—especially those shaped by trauma and relationships.
Together, we work to build awareness, self-compassion, and capacity for safety and connection, supporting healing in a way that feels grounded and sustainable.
Areas of Focus
I specialize in working with individuals navigating:
Trauma and complex trauma
PTSD
Anxiety and chronic stress
Depression
Relational and attachment-based trauma
I also support clients through identity exploration, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions, particularly when these experiences intersect with trauma, culture, or neurodivergence.
Who I Work With
My ideal clients are individuals who are curious about themselves and open to deep, meaningful work. You may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or impacted by past experiences, and are seeking a space to better understand yourself and move toward healing.
Clients I work well with tend to be:
Open to self-reflection and exploration
Willing to engage collaboratively in therapy
Interested in understanding patterns shaped by trauma or relationships
Ready to work at a pace that honors their nervous system
